Beginning approximately Oct. 23, 2017 a temporary road closure will be in effect at the Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) for ALL Lower Level, Outer Roadway Traffic.  The road closure will be posted and detour signs will direct all vehicles that normally use this roadway to use an alternate traffic pattern during this time.

This roadway closure is necessary for the beginning phase of construction for the terminal entrance canopy.

The Airport continues to communicate and work with the following airport partners on alternate staging locations for their operation: Car Rentals, Genesee Cab Transportation, Airport Parking Shuttles, Hotel Shuttles, RTS Service and Corporate Transportation providers.

At this time, the Upper Level Departures Roadway and Lower Level Arrivals Roadway remain accessible to vehicles and passengers.  The Pedestrian walkway from the terminal to the garage on the Upper Level and at least two pedestrian crosswalks on the lower level will be accessible to passengers during this period.

Appropriate way finding signage will be posted throughout the terminal to assist passengers to ground transportation locations and the parking facilities.

As always, passengers are reminded to arrive at the Airport at least 90 minutes prior to their departure times and to follow detour signage during this period.
